2023 EURL Berlin Proficiency Tests
The EURL Berlin is planning to organise two proficiency tests in 2023. Scheduled for the first and second quarter is a proficiency test on coccidiostats in liver. The participants will be provided with 3-4 test items produced from incurred samples.
Due to the positive feedback to the first proficiency test using standard solutions conducted in 2021 (STRD0521), the EURL Berlin has decided to conduct a PT of the same type in late 2023. Participating laboratories will be provided with 3-4 mix solutions of analytes belonging to several substance groups and are asked to determine the analyte contents. This PT shall give the participants the opportunity to check their own standard solutions against a gravimetrically prepared solution.
Laboratories eligible for participation in any of the projected PTs will be contacted in due time regarding the registration process.
NIIM1122: Sample shipment
The samples for the proficiency test NIIM1122 were shipped today. All participants are asked to fill out the sample receipt form. The password has been provided via e-mail. Further information on the PT is available here.

Starting from today until 24 October 2022 eligible laboratories are asked to register for the upcoming proficiency test on the determination of nitroimidazoles in porcine muscle. More information is available here.
BETA0622: New deadline for result submission
Due to the postponement of the sample shipments, the deadline for result submission has been adjusted. Please submit your results by 07 October 2022. Further information is available here.
BETA0622: International shipment postponed
Due to further issues with the logistic services provider, the BETA0622 sample shipment for international participants had to be postponed once more. A new shipping attempt is planned for 19th July, 2022. The deadline will be adjusted accordingly and will be communicated in due time.

BETA0622: New shipment date
The EURL Berlin will arrange shipment of the sample sets for the proficiency test BETA0622: Beta-agonists in bovine urine for Tuesday, 05th July 2022. The deadline for result submission will be changed to 23rd September 2022.
BETA0622: Postponement of sample shipment
We regret having to inform you that, due to a strike by our carrier TNT/FedEx we have to cancel the shipment of the proficiency test samples which had been scheduled for 14 June 2022. Unfortunately, the strike is for an indefinite period of time, so that we are unable to give you a new shipment date at the moment. In any case, the period allowed for the analysis of the PT samples will be prolonged respectively. We hope to be able to provide you with more information soon.
